

The layout was constructed during the club’s time at Broughton and depicts a small rock crushing plant fed by rail from a remote quarry. Trackwork was laid on 2 boards and scenic work had started. The crusher building was constructed but not detailed.
When the clubroom was lost, the layout went into storage where it remains. The pictures were found on a recent search of the archive.
The Left Hand picture shows the left hand end of the layout with the incline up to
the feed floor of the crushing plant. It was intended to base the model on Glyn Valley
Tramway practise -
The right hand picture shows the whole layout in the back room of the clubhouse opposite to the Dent model during the open day.
